SEVENTH GRADE
Monday- No School

Tuesday- Introduction to the Hydrologic Cycle. Students will be given an In-Class project which asks them to meet three standards regarding the water cycle. The students will need to define, diagram , and explain the elements to the water cycle. The In class project that the students will be working on allows them to hit all of those standards. It Will be due FRIDAY .

EIGHTH GRADE
Monday- No School

Tuesday- Lesson 4: Change to Capitalism
               Students will create an Environmental challenges Chart

Wednesday- REVIEW Russia History for a quiz tomorrow
                     Study your Russia History Packets

Thursday- RUSSIA QUIZ

Friday- Pass back and discuss Quizzes/ Current Event Quiz

TENTH GRADE
Monday- No School

Tuesday- Lesson 2: America Suffers/ Lesson discussing the hardships faced by the American People during the Great Depression

Wednesday- Dust Bowl era movie clips and discussion

Thursday- Section 1 and 2 Review, Read Section 3: Hoovers Response

Friday- PRESIDENTS QUIZ 31-44 Begin Hoover

SEVENTH GRADE
Monday- Complete Lesson 1: The water Planet
               We will begin watching a video presenation on the impact of water conservation entitled
               Liquid Assets: The Big Business of Water

Tuesday- Complete Video Presentation

Wednesday - Students will complete a quick activity in which they write down the meaning of the video from their perspective:                 HAVE A HAPPY, SAFE, and RELAXING HOLIDAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!

EIGHTH GRADE
Monday- We will pass back and discuss Physical Map quizzes
                Students will complete Russia History Packets (due tomorrow)

Tuesday- Discuss 2nd Half of Russian History, REVIEW SHEETS

Wednesday - Studetns will complete Russia TIMELINE Activity SHEETS
 HAVE A HAPPY, SAFE, and RELAXING HOLIDAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TENTH GRADE
Monday - Check and discuss the Causes of the Great Depression
              - Students will break into Groups and complete economic Charts ( due tomorrow)

Tuesday- Discuss Economic Charts and begin to answer Activity 1: Discussion Questions

Wednesday - Collect Questions : HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY!!! BE THANKFUL FOR TURKEY!!

SEVENTH GRADE
Monday- The students should complete Bonus Sheets and Review Sheets. Chapter Test is on Wednesday. STUDY YOUR MATERIALS.

Tuesday- Jeopardy Review Game. STUDY STUDY STUDY

Wednesday- Chapter 3 Test on the Physical Earth.

Thursday- We will discuss the chapter Tests. CURRENT EVENT ARTICLE DUE TOMORROW

Friday- Current Event Summary Day. Articles are Due !!!!!

EIGHTH GRADE
Monday- Russia Political Map Quiz. Chapter VOCAB is DUE  TOMORROW !!!!!!!

Tuesday- Check Vocab which is due today. Physical Map will be discussed. Remember to be reviewing your map packets.

Wednesday- Lesson 3: A troubled History Packet. Students will be reading about the history of Russia
                    and completing a packet. Russia Physical review. STUDY QUIZ FRIDAY

Thursday- Review Russia Physical Maps; QUIZ TOMORROW CURRENT EVENT ARTICLES

Monday- Students will complete review materials for the 20's . STUDY TEST Is WEDNESDAY

Wednesday- ROARING 20's Chapter TEST

Thursday- Go over Test: Intro to chapter 8 The Great Depression

Friday- Current Event articles are due.

Week of November 7-11

SEVENTH GRADE
Monday- Students will be working on Pangea and Continental Drift. The students will be completing the Wegener and Hess Video Question Sheets today.

Tuesday- Students will be working on Types of Plate Movements. They will be working on an In-Class Project dealing with the movements. They will need to create models of the different types of movement.

Wednesday- Final Lesson of the Chapter !!  Natural Disasters. The students will discuss natural disasters and then we will watch a video presentation regarding the largest natural disasters in history.

Thursday- Study guides are distributed. Review Sheets and Bonus Sheets. STUDY STUDY STUDY

Friday- NO SCHOOl

EIGHTH GRADE
Monday- Intro to Russia Chapter. Students will be working on their Take Home Quizzes today. The Quizzes are due tomorrow !!

Tuesday- Collect Take Home Quizzes. Students will receive their new map packets. The map packets should be completed for tomorrow.

Wednesday- Check map packets for a grade. The students will then practice identifying the location of major political and physical features of the region.

Thursday- Political map review along with bonus sheets. STUDY POLITICAL MAPS.
                 QUIZ MONDAY
Friday- No School

TENTH GRADE
Monday- 20's Culture Lesson. Darrow Reading Questions will be collected. Students should begin studying materials and completing advertisment projects.

Tuesday- We will discuss Scopes Monkey Trial Questions, along with Bonus Sheets and Review Sheets.
               The chapter is completed at this time, Test will be on MONDAY.

Wednesday- Advertisement Project Presentations. PROJECTS DUE TODAY !!!

Thursday- Who wants to be a millionaire REVIEW. STUDY STUDY STUDY
