8th GRADE/9th GRADE AMERICAN HISTORY 1
Monday- Intro to class procedures
               Course outlines and rules and expectations are distributed

Tuesday- Students will receive their textbooks
             - American history PRETEST
             - Information regarding Current event assignments and Literature circles will be discussed

Wednesday- Lesson 1 Causes and Effects of Exploration
                  - Students will begin the Exploration map

Thursday - Lesson 2: Colombian Exchange
                - Students will complete Explorers Chart - DUE TOMORROW!!

Friday - Collect Charts
           - Begin Lesson 3 SPANISH Exploration
           - Current Event Quiz Number 1


10th Grade AMERICAN HISTORY 2

Wednesday- Lesson 1: Progressive Era (Rebuilding America)

Thursday- Complete Lesson 1
              - Literature Circle #1: The Jungle by Upton Sinclair (Read and Answer the questions)

Friday - Collect Reading questions
           - Discuss The Jungle
           - Current Event Quiz #1
