WELCOME BACK TO A NEW YEAR !!

SEVENTH GRADE GEOGRAPHY/ EIGHTH GRADE GEOGRAPHY

Monday: Intro to class procedures and rules. Students will receive their syllabus and outlines for the course. Students can begin to get their supplies, such as folders, notebook, etc.

Tuesday: Students receive textbooks and Current Event Summary forms for September. Begin to review Continents, Oceans, and other features of the world map.

Wednesday: Begin Chapter 1: Geography Basics. Students will receive their World Map Review Sheets that will be used for a quiz on Friday !! Chapter 1 Vocabulary lists are distributed.

Thursday: Lesson 1: 5 Themes of Geography. Study World Maps to review for a QUIZ.

Friday: WORLD MAP REVIEW QUIZ

Friday- May Current Event articles due (FINAL GRADE OF MARKING PERIOD)
