Week of September 5 - September 9

SEVENTH GRADE
Monday- No School Labor Day Holiday

Tuesday- Students will get their grades back on the Map Quizzes.
                We will review the 5 Themes of Geography and the students will receive their first
                marking period writing prompts. The writing prompts are due on MONDAY.

Wednesday- Lesson 3 Hemispheres and Grid Lines
                    The students will begin working with a grid system and plotting coordinates on the grid system.

Thursday- Latitude/Longitude Practice sheets
                Review the 5 Themes of Geography for a quiz on Friday
                STUDY 5 THEMES NOTES FOR QUIZ

Friday- 5 Themes of Geography QUIZ
            Current Events

EIGHTH GRADE
Monday- No School Labor Day Holiday

Tuesday- Students will get their map quizzes back today.
               Lesson 3: Developed vs. Developing nations/ The students will complete an assignment
               in which they will identify the varying degrees of economic development throughout nations
               that are located in different parts othe world.

Wednesday- Complete Lesson 3 Developed vs. Developing
                     Group activity

Thursday- Lesson 4: Hemispheres, Grid lines, and Map parts
                Students will also review the 5 Themes of Geography for a quiz tomorrow
                Study 5 Themes notes for a quiz tomorrow

Friday- 5 Themes of Geography quiz

TENTH GRADE
Monday- No School Labor Day Holiday

Tuesday- U.S. History Review Quiz
               Complete Lesson 1
               Students will begin Progressive Reform Chart Assignment

Wednesday- Complete Progressive Chart
                    Lesson 2: Discrimination throughout the Progressive Era
                    Dubois vs. Washington reading assignment

Thursday- Lesson 3: Teddy Roosevelt
                 Section reviews, Section 1 and 2

Friday- WRITING PROMPTS are DUE TODAY !!!
             Complete Teddy Roosevelt.
             CHAPTER TEST IS NEXT WEEK !!!!
